"Halloween"--Buffy the Vampire

The show we watched on Thursday was quite entertaining! I have never seen a Buffy show before, so I found to enjoy it. Of course like you said, it was definitely a cheesy show. I honestly didn't know what was going to happen next in some parts of the show! I liked how Buffy was definitely the hero in the story instead of the typical male role it usually is. It was also entertaining to see that a costume could change the entire personality of each character. Also, it was nice to see that the jock ended up being the victim when he was turned into a pirate and Buffy's friend was turned into the soldier and kicked the crap out of the pirate. The part that was confusing to me was the fact of the librarian and the other guy's relationship. It seemed like they had a past together, but weren't going to tell us. Overall I would say I really enjoyed watching this show!

  2. I totally agree with the "cheesy" part. I remembering watching it back when I was younger but I don't remember it being that cheesy! I think I almost enjoyed it back then, I cant say the same for now though.

  3. I also enjoyed that the hero role was played by a girl. It kind of plays into our world these days. Men don't have complete control and women have just as much power.

  4. I agree with the whole cheesy part as well, I also agree with not knowing what was going to happen next sometimes because it is so different from what we are used to watching!
